Welcome to the Great Hall...
...where the tidings of the day are shared.

• It's a time of new beginnings for me, which is always exciting. Tor has released the first book in my new trilogy of future-set fantasy romances, each of which features a fallen angel hero. Click on the cover of FALLEN to the left to read the cover copy and an excerpt. The excerpt for GUARDIAN, book #2 in the series, will be up by the spring.

• I also have a new alter-ego, just to keep things interesting (and my fingers busy). Hop through to my Biography for the link to my Deborah Cooke site and the Dragonfire series.

• Those of you who have visited before will have noticed a bit of housekeeping around the Château - as my medieval romances are becoming out of print, those rooms have been mothballed. My entire backlist is listed in the Library.

• I post to my blog Alive & Knitting most weekdays - this is where I post review quotes and other interesting tidbits. Leaving a comment on a post there is the best way to get in touch with me. You can also sign up for my monthly newsletter, which is called Chestwick and administered through yahoogroups. Links are in the sidebar.

• There are lots of benches to pull up to the fire while you rest your weary feet (and wait to hear the latest tidings) and there will be many stories shared once the hour becomes late. Be careful what you believe within these walls, as things get a bit unpredictable in the Great Hall around the full moon. Chestwick brews a mean cup of mead so the wise are slow in emptying their cups.
