I write romantic fiction, because I’m interested in relationships and how people work out the issues between them. I also like happy endings!
I have written under three different names, which keeps things interesting.
• I write contemporary paranormal romance as Deborah Cooke. My Dragonfire paranormal romance features dragon shape shifter heroes. FLASHFIRE, #7 in the series, was released in January 2012 and #8, EMBER’S KISS, is scheduled for publication in October 2012. There is also a spin-off paranormal YA series called The Dragon Diaries – that series has its own website, right HERE. Books #1 and #2 in that series are currently available, while #3 in the trilogy – BLAZING THE TRAIL – will be published in June 2012.
• I write medieval romance and fantasy romance set in other times and places as Claire Delacroix. My most recent series – FALLEN, GUARDIAN and REBEL – features fallen angel heroes in a future-set dystopian society (post-nuclear but pre-Apocalyptic). I have also written time travel romance and mainstream with romantic elements as Claire Cross. The time travels have been republished HERE.
• My monthly newsletter/listserve is Chestwick, on YahooGroups.
• I was the writer-in-residence at the Toronto Public Library in October and November 2009, the first time that TPL has offered a residency focused on the romance genre. The blog associated with the residency, which I created as a resource for aspiring romance writers, remains live HERE.
• My Facebook pages are AuthorDeborahCookeFanPage and Author Claire Delacroix.
• My Amazon Author Pages are Deborah Cooke and Claire Delacroix. My Smashwords Author Pages are Deborah Cooke and Claire Delacroix. Other buy links are my websites, listed with each book.

I would really like to see how the rest of the Jewels of Kinfairlie have fared. Especially Tynan and Rosamunde. Please continue that series for you faithful readers.

Thanks for commenting. I did finish Rosamunde’s story – it’s called “The Ballad of Rosamunde” and was published in an anthology earlier this year, called THE MAMMOTH BOOK OF IRISH ROMANCE. You can find the ISBN# and see the cover on my website here (scroll down to Novellas) and on the blog here.
I would love to tell the stories of the rest of the siblings in that family, but the market is very tough for historical romances. I blogged about this particular challenge quite a while ago, here.
Thanks for posting!
